Seven Things I Learned About the Khloe Kardashian’s Denim Line, Good American

I am one to try to Keep up with the Kardashians! These girls are always on the move and I am trailing behind trying to see pass the dust. Well, when the dust settled, I learned about a month ago, that Khloe Kardashian is on the second season of her denim line called, Good American. I must say this is a line for folks who like a tight, snug fitting denim piece. Let’s go ahead and jump into the seven things I learned about the Khloe Kardashian denim line, Good American.

1. Good American launched on October 18, 2016, with only three styles– Good Legs (skinny fit), Good Cuts (tailored boyfriend), and Good Waist (high-wasted skinny). The denim line of three styles reached $1 million dollars in sales on its first day of release, breaking a world record!

2. Talk about the power of social media, the brand only used Instagram to market the jeans with photos of curvy ladies leading up to the launch date. And then the brand brought in $1 mill on the first day. Check out the hand selected Good Squad models here!

3. Good American denim makes every single piece in America. Pattern makers, sewers, garment technicians and many other artisans in Los Angeles, all work together to produce this luxury premium denim line. It takes one hundred hands to make one pair of Good American jeans. Now, that’s a lot of TLC in a pair of pants!

4. Let’s talk about the fit! The body-positive, curve-friendly brand with a contour “gap proof” waistband, “making booties pop” per Khloe’s words. Sounds like a perfect fitting jean for all the curvy women in the world. Butt lifting, corset slimming elastic waist, and hip and leg sculpting are a few terms used on the Good American website to describe the line which ranges from size 00-24.

5. Good American currently has denim skirts, pants, short, and a jean jacket, but with styles being released bi-weekly this year, who knows what’s next—dresses, overalls, shoes—those Kardashians keep us on our toes!

6. The line is sold exclusively on the Good American website and at Nordstrom. Prices range from $135-$206

7. The brand was developed from a conversation between Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede about what it means to be a woman today. They both discussed problems each of them had with purchasing denim and decided to fix those problems together. Khloe and Emma are co-founders of Good American.

I usually stay in the range of $40 – $60 for my jeans, however, I am very curious and would like to get my butt in a pair of these handmade, body sculpting denims! Hmm, Mother’s Day gift to myself maybe LOL

Head over to the Good American site to check out the styles!

  1. I knew Khloe had a jean line but I thought it was only jean pants. The skirts and other apparel look very nice actually. As a curvy girl myself I wouldn’t mind trying to see they fit as well as they say and if they are worth the price.

  2. These look like some really cute jeans. I know they probably don’t have my size because I wear a size 2 or four but if I was curvier I would definitely snag a pair

  3. I’ve been meaning to check out this brand but feel like I have been so busy I never got around to it. So thank you for sharing the info about the brand. Like you, I tend to stay in a lower price range for my jeans, but I am intrigued by the fit of the jeans. If they really are what they claim to be….maybe I need to splurge?!
Would love to hear your thoughts after trying them out!

    1. Yeah, the message is great! Love your body and love who you are. I like the look of the line also, mainly the looser fit options.

    1. You know what, I haven’t tried a pair of Zara jeans! I have their pants and shirts but no jeans. I will check out a pair!

  4. Wow, I’m curious too about Khloe’s denim. If you end up getting some for Mother’s Day let me know, I might wanna get a pair.

  5. I’d like to believe Good American has great collections of denim products but the price is too much for me. I’m usually settled with less than $50 and what more than $100 is way expensive already. You can actually get a good pair of denim that is budget friendly. Well, it’s Kardashians!

  6. First off…treat yourself!! Definitely buy the pair if you want them!! I’m all for positive body images especially nowadays with the social media beast. Kardashian & the price are the two turn offs for me with this denim line.

    1. I would definitely like to try on a pair and see how they feel. It will be the first time my body will be in a pair of jeans over $60 bucks LOL
