Denim Looks, Life in Blue

How To Spend $10,000 on the coolest Denim Pieces Out on the Market

I love discovering new, chic, and cool denim pieces out on the market today. Denim is in full bloom this year with so many great styles to rock this spring and summer. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved playing the game “What would you buy if you had a million dollars?” Did anyone else play this game? My list would always start off with Barbie dolls, bikes and trips to Disney World. Now that I’m in my 30s, my list always starts off with buying rental properties and paying off debt. Oh yes, I still play the game, and I mean seriously play, with a piece of paper, pen, and calculator! You just never know when a mill might fall into your lap; I know I will be prepared if it happens to me 🙂

So, since I spend 90% of my week looking at denim pieces and crafting DIY denim projects, I figured I would make a list of pieces I would buy if I were rich!! Instead of a million dollars–because this blog post would go on for hours–let’s just say I have $10,000 to splurge on denim. Check out my picks:

Let’s start off with some “regular people” priced denim

Genuine-People Bodycon Dress This is such a cute Bodycon Denim Mini Dress by Genuine People for $84! Perfect for a carnival or day at the botanical gardens. You can throw on a flat, a heeled sandal or even a Converse sneaker!

Lulus JumpsuitI am jumping for this pieces! This Cruise Blues Chambray Jumpsuit by Lulus for $72 is screaming for me to wear on a date night! I have the perfect pair of four-inch cobalt blue sandals to wear with this sexy number!

Joes Jeans

Confession: I honestly believe I’m going to love embroidered jeans for the rest of my life! I just love the way they look. This pair by Joe’s, the Debbie Embroidered High Waist Crop Straight Leg Jeans for $173, is so freakin’ cute! The perfect amount of skinny and straight for me.

Now, let’s live in “rich people” land and add a comma to the total!

Balmain Sleeveless Shirtdress

This Balmain Sleeveless Denim Shirtdress is so cute. I love how short it is *wink* and it’s only $1,976 (Whew!) But since I have $10,000 (in my head) I’m going to splurge.

How freakin’ cute are these Roberto Cavalli flare jeans?! For a total of $681, I can rock these fare jeans in my dreams with a crop top and a pair of espadrilles. Don’t wake me, I need these jeans in my life (dreams).

Bring on these Bicolor denim culottes by Gucci for $1,100. I absolutely love these pants and I need them in my real life. Now, I just need to figure out how to get my hands on $1,100.

Mui Mui Denim Oxfords

And these Mui Mui Platform denim Oxford for $890 are the bomb.com! I would wear with a pair of white distressed denim capri pants and a ruffled off-the-shoulder denim shirt.

Dolce & Gabbana

So, with my $10,000 dream budget, I would spend the rest of my money on these Dolce & Gabbana Embellished Boyfriend jeans for $5,000.  How CUTE or these jeans! I think I might DIY these bad boys.

Whew, I did it! Eight beautiful denim pieces for a grand total of $9,976.00! I am so good with (dream) budgets 🙂

  1. Wow, how crazy! None of these things are my style at all and I’m amazed at how pricey they are. I could get on board with the flare jeans, but I don’t like how they are two different shades.

    1. I KNOW! I wish I was a millionaire! I would still shop at H&M but I would own a pair of those Dolce & Gabbana jeans!

  2. Wow! I love denim too and some of your choices are rock on! I wouldn’t go for the last pair of jeans though and not only because of their price, but to each their own I guess. Love the Lulus jumpsuit!

  3. These are amazing stuff 😍 however, loved the Mui Mui Platform denim Oxford the most have non-denim type similar to mine and since I bought them wanted or was fascinated by an idea of the denim one and, oh my you bought them to me 😍😍😍

  4. I love denim, loooovvvveeee denim. That jumpsuit and those flare legs jeans would be mine as well if I were a baller. Lol maybe I put my extra coins aside to get those jeans

  5. That bedazzled jeans looks fab! And also the rompers 🙂
But if I have $10,000 I will buy lots of foods, hire a van and travel the whole Metro at nihht to look for homeless people and beggars needing foods for the night. Will do that for a week, and my $10,000 will go for a very long way 🙂

  6. Demins are very fab and in this time and I love that it went back. I love having denim bags. The mini dress also caught my attention. I think I need to have one.
